Many of us grew up in a time and culture where traditional Jewish death rituals were assumed. Yet so much has changed in the world and many of us are struggling to figure out what is most appropriate and meaningful to us. In this program, Rabbi Lauren will give a short overview as to various ritual practices and contemporary perspectives. Then we will have a facilitated, open conversation about topics as burial, cremation, funeral service vs memorial service, shiva, and more.
