American Jews and Israel: The End of the Relationship?

This Shabbat, November 6, I will give my next talk on contemporary Jewish issues. It is entitled "American Jews and Israel: The End of the Relationship?" A number of months ago there was a great deal of discussion provoked by an article by Peter Beinart entitled "The Failure of the American Jewish Establishment". It raises questions about the organized Jewish community, younger Jews and their connection to Israel.
