Best-Selling Author and Journalist, Jeffrey Toobin, to Speak at SAJ

On Saturday, January 23 at 1:15PM Jeffrey Toobin, a staff writer at The New Yorker, the senior legal analyst for CNN, and one of the most recognized and admired legal journalists in the country, will speak about how the Court has been, and is likely to further be, affected by Obama’s historic presidency. A question-and-answer period follows.

This event is free and open to the public.

Toobin’s book The Nine: Inside the Secret World of the Supreme Court spent more than four months on the New York Times best-seller list and was named one of the ten best books of the year by The New York Times Book Review, Time, Newsweek, Fortune and The Economist.

Before joining The New Yorker, Toobin served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Brooklyn. In 1986 Toobin graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review.
