Parenting Discussion with Larry Zelnick

"Post-Passover-Reflections: Parenting Under Pressure and In Quiet Times"

We will consider the differences in making healthy parenting decisions in both the times of high family intensity, like holidays, and during the more mundane, week-to-week challenges. In the discussion, Dr. Zelnick will include research and theoretical findings in early parent/child development that highlights the importance of moment-to-moment rupture and repair in parent-child relationships, as well as the simultaneous importance of "peak", "ah-hah" moments.

Larry Zelnick, child psychologist in New York City, SAJ member and parent will lead this discussion group.
