Families are a big part of our SAJ community. Whatever the composition of your family is, SAJ has opportunities for you to participate in the life of the community.

Bring your little ones to a Tot Shabbat or attend one of our Family Services. Consider our innovative two-year Bar/Bat Mitzvah Prep Program, in which both students and parents are asked to play an important role. Discuss the joys and challenges of Jewish life at one of our “Discussing Meaning” sessions or explore the basics of Judaism at the Learner’s Minyan, led by Rabbi Joy Levitt. Spend a weekend at our annual retreat –the whole community is welcome.

SAJ Hebrew School is a cornerstone of our family program. Our experiential approach to Jewish learning and living emphasizes openness, exploration and creativity. We invite you to speak with our education director, Gidon B. Isaacs to find out more.
