SAJ Provides an Italian dinner, BYO wine and/or dessert

Join us in what we hope will be a new tradition at the SAJ: An all ages "Welcome Back" Community Dinner! We invite members of all ages to gather after a summer when many of us have been away for part of the time-- to reconnect with each other and with our wonderful community. Following time to eat and shmooze and for kids to play, we will do Havdallah, the ritual service separating Shabbat from the rest of the week and then have a short and meaningful service of Reflection and Renewal for the New Year, which will be appropriate for older kids (4th grade and up) and adults. As is with our tradition, the Saturday night before Rosh HaShanah is a time for special High Holiday prayers and is a time to set our intentions for the holiest time of the year.
