We begin our seventh year of trail work on the Terrace Pond South Trail, in Wawayanda State Park, in Northern New Jersey. In the last six years, we made more than twenty trips to the trail and made great progress in putting this beautiful but somewhat neglected gem back into good condition. Malcolm Spector is planning two trips this spring and he invites anyone interested to participate. We will be working on sections of trail we last clipped two years ago. We may also be invited to do some work on the neighboring blue-blazed trail that we looked at last fall. Malcolm will provide transportation as long as we can all fit into one vehicle. He will provide gloves and tools. You need to bring extra clothing in case there's a change in the weather, lunch and water. Since we are making our second trip later into the spring, beginning of summer, we may see the laurel and rhododendron in bloom.
