Overcome Your Fear Of Writing
Led by SAJ Member Marilynn Talal
When I asked students in my college writing class who was afraid of writing, 30 out of 30 students put up their hands. In the last class when I asked, "Who now feels writing is a tool he or she knows how to use?" again, 30 out of 30 hands went up. Adults of all ages, college students, residents of the Hebrew Home on 104th Street, prisoners in a San Antonio jail, elementary school teachers and school children have all enjoyed word games I use to overcome the fear of writing, and you can too. Come join us. — Marilynn Talal

welcome to the sAJ community
We’re a community that believes it’s possible to lead a 21st-century life that is deeply rooted in both Jewish tradition and contemporary civilization. Judaism helps us find meaning and inspiration as we seek to lead lives committed to spiritual growth, social justice, and building community. We welcome the richness that diversity brings to this community, where we learn about, struggle with, and even question our Judaism as we continue to "reconstruct" it for our times.
